The last eclipse of the year falls at the end of August, in Pisces, and after it the sky goes quiet in a particular way — nothing external arrives to force anybody's hand for the remaining four months. That matters more than it sounds. What happens between now and December happens because someone chose it, not because circumstance closed a door.

Autumn belongs to two retrogrades running almost on top of each other. Venus turns back in early October and retreats from Scorpio into Libra, reopening a partnership everyone thought was settled; Mercury follows through Scorpio from late October. Old terms return for renegotiation and old people sometimes with them. Review honestly, and conclude nothing while either is still walking backwards. They clear together in mid-November.

Jupiter holds Leo the whole way, with Mars alongside it for two months from the end of September. Confidence and appetite run well ahead of the resources actually behind them. The warmth is real; the estimate is optimistic. Spend it on something already begun rather than something newly imagined.

Uranus, reversing through Gemini from September, keeps rewriting the way people talk, listen and take things in. Abandoned ideas keep coming back asking to be finished properly. Speak less than the impulse suggests.

Saturn and Neptune spend the entire stretch reversing through Aries, one drawing a firm edge around who you are while the other keeps rubbing that edge out. Expect to feel more sharply defined and less sure of yourself at the same time, with no way of telling which impression to trust.

Then December settles it. Saturn turns forward, Neptune follows two days later, and Jupiter turns back the day after that — three stations inside four days, after months of everything important refusing to conclude. Whatever you have been carrying unresolved since the summer becomes answerable in that week. Pluto has already resumed forward motion in Aquarius by then, and the year ends with considerably more settled than it began with.
